MEET
Lily Payne
Lily Payne is an Open Impressionism Landscape Artist based in Dahlonega, GA. After growing up in Jacksonville, FL and having lived next to the sea and in close proximity to a variety of national parks for many years, her love of the outdoors grew tremendously. Throughout her life, Lily has been fascinated by color and how the world is represented in abstract art. She got started painting at a very early age and came to find that it was a true passion of hers.

Lily has always loved expressing herself through art. As a professional singer for 30 years, she found that making people happy by singing for them is also therapeutic for her.
While on stage singing, the colors of the stage lights put images in her head and she would envision magical places she wanted to paint and escape to. At the time, she had so much going on, she knew she couldn’t fit painting into her schedule. Many nights she promised herself that she would paint her love of nature. However, It wasn’t until she moved to North Georgia, that the stunning scenes around her made it a necessity that she paint. She became so passionate that she painted until she couldn’t keep her eyes open. Lily had discovered a magical world where you can truly lose yourself. Little did she know, this was just the beginning of something amazing for her.

Lily now has found this artistic flow within herself that has channeled healing into her paintings per her clients.

As Lily paints, she transports herself into the painting as if she were there. She feels the breeze on her skin and the sun on her face. She feels the mist of a waterfall and hears tree branches in the wind. Here, everything is peaceful and there is no pain.
Lily is so very grateful for her collectors and the love they have shown her and her art.
